REDDITCH United chairman Pat Cremin said he will be writing to the Football Association after the "absolutely disgraceful" way the Reds fans were treated at Workington's Borough Park on Saturday.
Cremin said the 150-plus fans were left to suffer the inclement weather conditions in the open air, had just two toilets between them, were not allowed to use the bar or access to any hot drink facilities after making the five hour coach trip up the M6.
He added: "If it had rained a lot our fans would have had to make the trip back absolutely soaking because there was no cover - that's just terrible.
"It's no fault of Carlisle because it's not their ground but it's absolutely disgraceful.
"I will be writing to the FA about it because we had 150 fans there and they just didn't give a monkey's about them."
A pre-season friendly against Carlisle United has been drawn up for next year between the clubs.
Cremin added: "The club's lost £10,000 because of the switch in venue and we would have had the next best team in the country to play so we've lost out all round."
Redditch were back in action last night as they met Bedworth United in the quarter final of the Birmingham Senior Cup. A win could see them play Wolverhampton Wanderers, Birmingham City or Walsall in the semis.
