KIND-hearted folk have helped raise a total of £1,378 for the tsunami appeal through a table-top sale in Worcester.
The event took place in St Martin's Church Hall in London Road on Saturday and the amount was raised in two hours.
Organiser Jacqueline Wood said a vast array of items were donated by residents for sale - from kettles, books and toys to CDS, videos and chocolates.
"People were very kind. It was quite touching and we'd like to thank everyone who responded so generously," she said.
