GRAEME Hick has admitted his return to the international stage has given him a timely boost ahead of Worcestershire's season.
The 38-year-old returns to international cricket after a four-year absence for three tsunami benefit games in New Zealand.
The County's talismanic batsman said he was delighted to be invited to join the world team, captained by Shane Warne, for three matches with the Black Caps.
"It's brilliant but it's come as a bit of a surprise. Hopefully it will be a good series and I can contribute," said the former England batsman.
