HEADLESS Cross Ladies put in one of their worst performances of their season against Kidderminster Harriers Ladies and suffered the consequences after going down 5-1.
Still missing players in Teresa Boddington, Emma Brayley, Elaine Frampton, Lucy Henderson and Marisa Flothmann, Cross struggled from the start and went behind on 20 minutes.
Harriers doubled their tally just before half time with Cross keeper Tina Benbow having no chance with the save.
Harriers added two more goals after the interval before 'Cross got their consolation via Mandy Ellicott's spot kick.
Harriers made it five just before the final whislte.
Cross boss Rob Auld said: "This was one of our worst performances of the season.
"We never got into the game and got what we deserved - we need to play a lot better if we are to get anything out of the game."
Cross will be looking to get back to winning ways when they take on Rae Valley at the Abbey Stadium on Sunday (KO 2pm).
n Headless Cross Ladies Reserves travelled to Kidderminster Reserves in search of their third win of the season, but failed when Kidderminster scored in the last five minutes to take the spoils.
Despite numerous chances Cross failed to hit the back of the net and were made to pay as Cross keeper Paula Palfreyman was left in no man's land by a swirling wind and a Harriers striker made no mistake.
Headless Cross Reserves are at home to Phoneix Hereford on Sunday (KO 2pm).
