Fairfield Villa 0 Old Hill Town 2
MARK Ingram's first half dismissal for violent conduct condemned Villa to an undeserved defeat in the Midland Combination Division One on Saturday.
Up until the forward's straight red card for raising a hand to an Old Hill defender Villa had been in control of the game.
Waynes Davies had hit the cross bar and Steven Ford should have scored when put through one-on-one with Old Hills' goalkeeper.
Villa were punished for Ingram's 40th minute sending off minutes later as Old Hill took advtantage of the reshuffle and scored.
Davies came close in the second half to scoring but the keeper was equal to his shot, before Old Hill sealed victory late on.
Manager Neil Gallagher said: "We should have been 2-0 up before Mark was sent off.
"We can definitely count ourselves as a little unlucky."
