VOLUNTEER fundraisers from the Bromsgrove branch of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution have received prestigious awards for their long service.
Mary Hampton and Ann Brazier have been awarded gold badges for 29 and 28 years service respectively.
Jenny West, who has been with the RNLI for 15 years, has been awarded the silver badge, along with Jean Hall for her 17 years of voluntary service.
Together, the friends have been instrumental in raising more than £122,900 for the charity.
The RNLI is totally funded by voluntary contributions and has more than 230 lifeboat stations around the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
The Bromsgrove branch holds monthly dinner meetings at Bromsgrove School in Worcester Road.
