THE cause of a serious house fire which left two Studley families homeless has yet to be discovered.
The fire, in Eldorado Close, off High Street, last Wednesday, started about 7.30am in the morning, the family being alerted by a smoke alarm in the hallway.
They made it to safety but the fire destroyed their house and the roof of a neighbouring house.
Both homes are owned by South Warwickshire Housing Association which have now offered the families involved temporary accommodation while they are repaired.
Last week the families were said to be staying with relatives.
Four fire crews from Studley, Alcester, Bidford and Stratford spent two and a half hours tackling the blaze.
