BROMSGROVE cyclist Joe Rowe's excellent season took another positve step as he finished in the top ten of the National Cyclo Cross Championships on Saturday.
The Wellington Road rider proved he is up with the best in the country by finishing tenth overall and eighth in the veterans' age group at Abergavenny.
The result in Wales means Rowe is enjoying one of his best seasons to date. The Wyre Forest rider had already won a bronze medal in the regional championships in December.
In the ninth round of the West Midlands Cylco-Cross League a week before Rowe maintained his good form by winning his age group and come 13th overall.
