DEPLETED Droitwich Spa Dolphins finished third in the Worcester Winter League on Saturday.
Despite injuries and illness preventing many swimmers from competing Spa produced a battling display to finish behind leaders Perry Beeches A and Redditch.
Fiona Watt was the star as she won the under-15s freestyle and butterfly races, while David Fisher was runner-up in the backstroke and freesyle events.
Sophie Cave (freestyle) and Ben Rimington (breastroke) were second in the under-11s age group.
Lauren Hall-Annison was second in the under-15s breaststroke, while Natalie Blakemore performed wellvin three events.
Fizz Hunter, Steve Snape, Joe Hobbis and Nick Rimington went above and beyond the call of duty by competing in more than one event.
