THE January 4 talk took the form of a Gardener's Question Time with answers supplied by Mike George and Reg Moule of BBC Hereford & Worcester.

Members brought items from their gardens, some for identification and others that were showing signs of distress, asking for diagnosis of their problem.

In response to other questions many useful garden hints were given, particularly in the realm of pest control.

Non-gardening members were able to enjoy the good-natured banter between the two speakers who are used to working together on the radio.

Keith Cottell will give the next talk, entitled On a Wing and a Prayer on the techniques, skills, successes and failures of cathedral building. This takes place on Friday at 7.30pm at Trinity High School.
