NCCPG: The National Council for the Conservation of Plants and Gardens, Worcestershire Group's new year began with a talk from John Grimshaw, gardens advisor at Colesbourne Park, well known for its marvellous collection of snowdrops. Spring was in the air with the spectacle of winter and spring bulbs. Bulb Day is on March 19. You don't have to be a member of the NCCPG, all are welcome but it is by ticket only and they can be obtained from Hugh Blundstone on 01386 830909. The day will start with two lectures and a visit to Spetchley Park Gardens for a conducted tour of their fabulous collection of daffodils.
The AGM will be held on Tuesday, February 8 with a talk about Designing a Garden for Wildlife. Visitors are welcome to monthly meetings, held in the Frank Parkinson Centre at Pershore College at 7.30pm.
