TOP comedy drama - a hit at last year's Edinburgh Fringe - is coming to Evesham next week.
Dancing with Auntie is described as a 'coming of age tale of culture clashes and dark family secrets'.
Written by Bill Cronshaw, it focuses on a young man's memories of Christmas 1967 at his home in Manchester.
It is being staged at the Evesham Arts Centre Studio as part of its new season featuring contemporary theatre and professional performance and Bill Cronshaw has rewritten the play specially for its Evesham debut.
"There were time constraints in the Edinburgh production," he said. "For Evesham Arts Centre, I've been able to work with the actors on exploring some of the issues a little further - particularly some of the adult content."
Dancing with Auntie runs from Tuesday, January 11, to Friday, January 28 at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £6 from Evesham Book Centre (01386 45567).
