STARS of the pool celebrated their achievements at Wyre Forest Swimming Club's annual presentation evening.
Medals, certificates and trophies were awarded to 121 swimmers aged from six to over 50.
The most outstanding achievements at the club championships were by Victoria Wassell and Robert Smith, who each won all 18 events they entered in the 12-year-olds category.
Nick Carmichael won all 17 of the races he entered in the 15/16 age group, James Hatherill, nine, won all 15 of his races, Hannah Wear won all 14 of her events in the 15/16 group, and Claire Hatherill, eight, won all her six races.
Ross Morton, 14, won 17 out of 18 races entered, Eliza Bradley, 10, won 14 of her 15 events, and Samuel Rose, eight, won five from six.
Gareth Duke the gold medal winning paralympian swimmer made most of the presentations.
Other guests presenting prizes included the Mayor of Bewdley Tony Williams, the Deputy Mayor of Kidderminster Peter Dyke and Councillor Don Giles, representing the Mayor of Stourport. Senior's Coach Steve Joyce presented Club Coaches awards to Claire Cashmore for her achievements in winning two bronze medals at the Athens Paralympics and to Richard Carter for a year of leadership as boy's Club Captain, and his progression in his standard of swimming.
Junior Coach Lucy Walters presented awards to Bradley and Robert Smith for their overall dedication in training, and achievements in competitive swimming.
Special mention was made of Amy Smith who won all 10 of the events entered at the Club Championships and capped a year of winning swims at county, regional and national level by attending GB squad training camps and by being chosen for the Great Britain World Class Potential squad.
Smith and Carter were elected club captains for 2005, with Wear and Carmichael vice captains.
