AMERICAN students have turned their attentions to The Bard during a visit to a Worcester school.
The sixth form pupils, who are spending a week at The King's School in College Green, put on a production of the cult comedy hit The Complete Works of Shakespeare.
It is the fourth time the King's School and the Notre Dame Academy have embarked on an exchange - local pupils went over to Worcester in the USA last autumn.
"The exchange started in 1998 and has been going strong ever since," said Simon Atkins, head of drama.
"Sixth Form Drama and Theatre Studies students from King's put on a double bill of one-act plays in the 'fall'.
"As well as performing, the trip included time for shopping, sight-seeing, and a day out in Boston which included a visit to Harvard University and also to John Kerry's house a week before he lost the US election.
"The American students, who arrived on Saturday have been enjoying the delights of Worcester as well as going down to London for a few days."
