ADVENTUROUS students, led by their principal, have raised more than £1,300 for a Worcester charity after abseiling down the city's fire tower.
Worcester College of Technology students followed principal Chris Morecroft down the tower to raise money for Worcestershire Association for the Blind.
"We hoped to raise more than £1,000, so to raise just under £1,400 was fantastic," said Mr Morecroft.
"The students had a really challenging and exciting time."
The abseil down Worcester Fire Station's training tower, in Copenhagen Street, took place in November.
The money raised will go towards rehabilitation projects around the county which provide advice, equipment and mobility for blind and visually impaired people.
