A MEMBER of staff at a Kidderminster store was struck on the back of the head with a fist or an unknown object by an attacker who then walked out without saying anything.
Police, who have only just released details of the assault, which happened on Monday, January 3 at 3.30pm in the Mini Market, Severn Grove, are seeking witnesses.
The shop assistant, who is in his 50s, was treated in hospital for bruising to the back of his head.
He was left extremely distressed.
PC Chris Urwin, of Kidderminster police, said there were several customers in the shop at the time.
