I WOULD like to say a great big thank you to everyone involved in the Christmas Tree Appeal - run by HomeStart Wyre Forest and the Shuttle/Times and News - and all the wonderful people who organised, delivered and donated toys.
I was especially lucky to receive a very cuddly dinosaur, who is now my constant friend.
Special thanks to the HomeStart team for their constant good work, and I wish everyone a terrific 2005.

I MUST say "well done" to Wyre Forest District Council.
A request was made at 3pm on Monday, January 10, to collect an unwanted electrical appliance.
An employee called to collect the item at 3pm on January 11.
Is this a record? They even took away my discarded appliance packaging. Thank you.

I WOULD like to publicly thank Liz and Martin Meese, cooks Dee and Val, for the wonderful party, they put on in Arch Hill Court on Friday, for residents of Orchard Street and Arch Hill, Kidderminster.
It was truly a most memorable evening. They must have worked like Trojans, bless them.
This is not the first party they have organised and we, the residents, hope it won't be the last.
GRATEFUL RESIDENTS

I THINK Wyre Forest District Council should have a big "thank you" from local residents for the way they are trying to keep Kidderminster's Stourbridge Road tidy. They are making a wonderful job of it.
