The guest speaker for the January 10 meeting was John Todd, who gave an update on the progress being made on the Worcester Hospice project. The hospice will open this year and will include a teenage wing, a multi-sense room and a hydrotherapy pool, plus rooms for music, art and computing.
Pat Farr won the competition for "a favourite brooch".
The February 7 speaker in The Oaks Community Hall, Mustow Green, will be Eileen Tasker, on Wyre Forest Talking Newspaper.
The competition will be for an old newspaper.
