WORCESTER bands are joining forces on Sunday to raise money for the tsunami disaster.
Former Worcester tribute band The Beatless and their manager Tony Gibbon have organised the concert at Drummonds Bar, New Street, on January 23 at 6pm, which will feature local groups Medford, The Lightness, The Badgers, Come Together, Woody & The Stuntcocks, The Reflections, Fingers and The Disciples.
Tony said: "We couldn't just sit around doing nothing, so we decided to do what we are good at, by organising a big gig to raise money. Everyone has provided their services for free, the response has been brilliant."
Tickets, £5, are available from Drummonds, The Swan With Two Nicks (New Street) and Music City (The Tything). Tony added; "We hope to raise at least £1,000 on the night. People are already asking if The Beatless will be playing, well they will have to buy a ticket to find out."
