Evesham III 26pts Bridgnorth III 17
A BROKEN leg sustained by Dan Taylor tarnished Saturday's success when revenge was gained for defeat at the hands of the Shropshire side last November.
Six or seven phases of rolling mauls led to Evesham crossing the line through Ben Harrison.
Martin Dyer then scored in similar bullocking style as the forwards stacked full with the experienced Dom Capaldi, Pete Osborne and John Nuttell steamrollered their way upfield.
Sadly, Taylor's departure led to a loss of concentration and Bridgnorth scored through their young and quick back line.
Mike Biltcliffe touched down to steady proceedings, but backs Mike McLaughlin, Tom Ferguson and Dave Summerfield were kept busy trying to cover a pacy attack.
However, Evesham's line was breached on the break but but the right result was cemented when man of the match Harrison crossed at the other end.
