WILLERSEY blood donors are being invited to roll up their sleeves and part with a pint of blood in order to help keep the new year blood stocks healthy.
The session will be held at The Village Hall, Willersey, on Monday, January 24.
There will be two sessions, one from 1pm to 3.15pm, and one from 4.30pm to 7.15pm.
Lyndsay Stewart, spokes-woman for the National Blood Service said: "We need to supply Hereford and Worcester hospitals over 400 units of blood every week and low stocks in January can make it particularly difficult for us to do this. We rely entirely upon volunteer donors so we hope that people give blood as part of their new year's resolution and part with a pint soon."
