PEGASUS Juniors booked a place in the semi-finals of the Worcester Royal Infirmary Senior Cup with a 3-2 victory at Worcester City last night.
The Hellenic League side recovered from a goal down to book their last four slot in an entertaining contest.
City's largely reserve side included first-team defender Mark Tucker, who successfully came through an hour's play to test his fitness for Saturday's FA Umbro Trophy fourth round tie at Stalybridge Celtic.
Matt Upton, a recent graduate to the first-team squad following impressive displays in the Central Conference and youth sides, gave City a 23rd-minute lead when he converted Richard Congrave's cross.
But within a minute Pegasus were level through Mike Symonds' deft 25-yard chip, and seven minutes before the break Phil Beavan ran onto a Terry Green pass to shoot them in front.
Steve Frost, another player who has also stepped up to the first team in recent weeks, levelled again in the 57th minute after Upton sent him clear.
But Pegasus' star striker Mark Davis restored their lead with a clever lob on 64 minutes, and they held on with relative comfort.
