KIDDERMINSTER Harriers' assistant manager Gary Barnett is enjoying every minute of getting back into a way of life in the Football League.
As a player he performed for Coventry, Oxford, Wimbledon, Fulham, Huddersfield and Leyton Orient before moving into management with Welsh Leaguers Barry Town.
And now he's Jan Molby's right hand man at Third Division Kidderminster it's been a case of renewing his links with the Football League.
He said: "It's different obviously getting back into the League again and getting to know the players who are around now, plus the way managers go about the job and the way tactics have developed.
"But the club is going in the right direction on and off the field and it's all good at the moment. We have just got to make sure it keeps going.
"We have always said we knew we had a good calibre of players here and we believe in them.
"We do expect from them, but they have more than done enough as yet to say they have adjusted to the full-time game.
"We've only got a small squad, though, so we have got to be careful with suspensions and we are always talking to the lads about discipline.
"Then, of course, it needs a lot of luck with injuries as you need to keep players fit."
One player, in particular, who is adjusting well to life back in the Football League is former Coventry midfielder Andy Ducros who joined Harriers for a club record £80,000 from Nuneaton Borough during the close season. He said: "I think my form is gradually getting better and better the fitter I am becoming."
