DROITWICH Dolphins hosted the first round of the Worcester Winter League.
Fielding a team depleted by sickness and injuries, the club performed superbly well to snatch third place overall.
Fiona Watt was star of the show with first place in the girls under 15 freestyle and butterfly events.
In the same age group David Fisher finished second in the boys backstroke and freestyle events.
Sophie Cave and Ben Rimington both finished second in the under 11 age group, Sophie in freestyle and Ben in breaststroke.
Lauren Hall-Annison had three individual swims and claimed second place in the under 15 breaststroke. Natalie Blakemore also scored well in her three individual events.
There were also good performances from Fizz Hunter, Steve Snape, Joe Hobbis and Nick Rimington who each competed in more than one individual event along with Cave.
Other team members who swam individually were George Ellson, Thomas Chris-tie, Lawrence Mann, James Morrison, Tom Hartwright, Alex Llewellyn, Emma Houlston and Francis Baker.
The relay events also saw the Droitwich club score well, thanks to a great team effort.
Perry Beeches 'A' won the gala followed by Redditch, Droitwich, Perry Beeches 'B', Wombourne and Ross-on-Wye.
