THE Worcestershire Wildlife Trust is to hold a talk about the fallow deer of the Mortimer Forest, in Shropshire.
Chris Bradley, who has been interested in deer for over 40 years, will give an illustrated talk on the subject on Wednesday, February 2, at the Baptist Church Rooms, in Sansome Walk, in Worcester City Centre.
The fallow deer in the Mortimer Forest are unusual because they have a shaggy coat and a small sub-population has a wire-haired appearance to their hides.
Admission to the talk is £1.50 per head.
Volunteers of Worcestershire Wildlife Trust organise the programme of talks and Andy Jones, the group chairman can be contacted on 01905 351959 or by e-mail on andy@jonesworcester.demon.co.uk
