A NATIONAL cancer charity is appealing to keen runners to get on their jogging shoes and help make a fund-raising race in Worcester a great success.
A total of 5,000 women took part in Cancer Research UK's Race for Life in the city in June last year, raising more than £200,000 for the charity.
Participants walked, jogged and ran five-kilometres around Pitchcroft Race Course and the city streets, ending in The Shambles.
Now the cancer charity is asking fitness fanatics to play their part by signing up to take part in this year's Worcester event and help them smash their national target of £23m.
