A SCHOOL and pottery have joined forces to offer youngsters a day of artistic fun in aid of charity.
The Friends of Eastnor School has teamed up with Eastnor Pottery in Eastnor, near Ledbury, for the event, on Wednesday, February 2.
All 84 children will visit the pottery in small groups to work with ceramic artists Jon Williams and Sarah Monk, producing pots as gifts for Mothers' Day, which takes place on Sunday, March 6.
"The children will each make a six inch flower pot encrusted with flowers and natural decoration," said Mr Williams.
"The pots will then be dried, fired and planted up for the children to take home - all in time for Mothers' Day."
The fund-raising element of the day will depend on youngsters at the school donating towards the production of the pots.
The pottery is giving its time, materials and firing costs for free, so all of the money raised will go towards the school's parents' and teachers' association.
