I AM calling on local people to support Marie Curie Cancer Care's annual Great Daffodil Appeal in March.
The 2005 appeal hopes to be bigger and better than ever, with a staggering target of £3m, and the charity needs your help!
This year, as part of the appeal, Marie Curie Cancer Care has launched a brand new event, the Great Daffodil Walk Home.
Across the country on Friday, March 18, people will be wearing daffodils and walking home to support Marie Curie nurses. I'd love to see the people of Worcestershire joining in by holding their own walks.
For more information or to register your own walk, simply visit www.mariecurie.org.uk/daffodil/walkhome or call 0870 2401 021. Yellow Pages' and Persimmon Homes are supporting the walks.
This support means that funds raised by the appeal will go directly to Marie Curie Cancer Care.
