FOLK music fans will have an enthralling evening of music when the innovative Limerick -born fiddle player, Joe O'Donnell, comes to Bromsgrove tomorrow (Thursday).
Joe will bring his own mixture of traditional and contemporary music to Bromsgrove Folk Club when his trio, Shkayla, visit Bromsgrove Folk Club.
He will be joined by Martin Barter on keyboard and vocals and Dave Perry on guitar and vocals.
Described as a 'mix of acoustic traditional styles with worldbeat influences and Celtic, jazz and rock fusions', spokesman for the folk club Bob Bignell said: "The night is certain to be one to be remembered."
Popular resident band Fairfield will again be on hand and nearly three hours of non-stop musical mayhem is promised. There will be an interval and a raffle on the night.
The folk club meets at Bromsgrove Rugby Club in Finstall Road and non-members, who are always more than welcome, will be admitted for £5. Doors open at 8pm.
