TWO men stole cigarettes during a burglary at Victoria Wine in Monarch Drive, St John's, at 3am yesterday morning.
The men were both 6ft tall, wore balaclavas and were dressed in black - with the exception of one wearing white trainers.
They were seen running towards Hallow Road with a large white laundry bag.
Police, who used a tracker dog to search the area, are investigating the possibility that the thieves got into a vehicle in Ellison Avenue.
Anyone with any information regarding the burglary, who saw anyone acting suspiciously in Ellison Avenue or recognise the men's descriptions, should call police on 08457 444 888, quoting 31S/250105.
