REDDITCH VC's journey in the Birmingham County Open League Cup has landed them in the final after a thrilling 2-1 away win over West Brom Strollers.
Jenny Worthington's lob early on gave VC a deserved lead and the visitors' pressure didn't let up as Emily Johnson and Nat Lawrence drove the team forward.
Shortly before the interval Olivia Nicholson handed VC a two-goal advantage after latching onto a through ball.
But the Strollers kept their heads up and put VC under severe pressure early in the second period.
Sarah Day rounded VC keeper Nicky Metje on the hour to give the Strollers some hope.
But VC held on to take the victory and make their way to the final.
