A WALK by the Mayor of Worcester, Coun Allah Ditta, and macebearers through the centre of the city raised £1,900 for the tsunami aid appeal.
Coun Ditta said a total of £3,223 had so far been collected through the Mayor's office.
He thanks staff for their help with the appeal and armed forces cadets who assisted with collections during the walk, which took place on Saturday, January 15.
