YOUNG table tennis stars have qualified for the latter stages of a national tournament.
Both the boys and girls teams from St George's CE Primary School, in St George's Lane North, have reached the regional stages of the English Schools Table Tennis Association competition.
Each team safely negotiated the last round as Worcestershire representatives in Cheltenham.
The boys beat Northants and Gloucestershire to qualify as winners to the zone finals next month, while the girls were runners-up and travel to Southampton for their zone finals.
Meanwhile, one of the boys' team is making a name for himself on the national stage.
Leon Campbell (pictured, far left) has been crowned individual U11s Worcestershire School's champion and now faces a national final in Stoke in April.
