Droitwich Spa Reserves 1 Inkberrow 2
MIS-FIRING Spa reserves slipped to a rare defeat in the Midland Combination Division Three on Saturday.
A deflected second half effort punished Droitwich for their inability to take their chances.
Droitwich had dominated the game and Rob Bell opened the scoring after being set up by Will Patz.
Bell should have doubled Droitwich's lead, but he shot at their Worcestershire rival's goalkeeper.
Defender Simon Holliday was on hand to block a shot after an error from 'keeper Dave Pritchard.
However, Spa were rocked when Inkberrow grabbed to quick goals after the break.
Neil McCullogh came close to equalising, but his 20-yard shot was caught by the 'keeper.
Droitwich take on leaders Coton Green on Saturday (1.45pm kick off).
