DRAMATISTS will be putting on a classic Alan Bennett play at the Rose Theatre in Kidderminster from Monday, January 31, to Saturday, February 5.
Habeas Corpus will be the next production by The Nonentities drama group at the Chester Road North theatre.
The play is a stylish and stylised farce about the permissive society in the Seventies. It sports a zany cast of comic caricatures and presents many staple scenes of farce.
But the play also offers many well-chosen words and gorgeously captured period detail, as you would expect from much-loved playwright Alan Bennett.
The Nonenties are donating £1 for every full price ticket sold to the tsunami appeal.
Tickets start at £6. For more information call the box office on 01562 743745.
