THE future is looking particularly bright for a bunch of Spa students who have been offered places at the country's most prestigious universities.
Six students at Droitwich Spa High School including Clive Collins, Guan Qin, Sarah Jennings, Katrina Shearman and Matthew Mead have been offered places at Oxford or Cambridge Universities.
The places have been offered based the pupil's performances in last June's AS-Level examinations. They will be able to accept their places if they achieve the required grades in this summer's A-Level exams.
Jane Christopher, deputy headteacher at the Briar Mill school, expressed her delight at the offers from the two universities.
