A REDDITCH woman is hoping to raise as much cash as possible for her aunt who runs a convent in Sri Lanka and is trying to help children who were orphaned in the the Tsunami.
Dot Hopkins, of Melen Street, who is collecting cash and supplies for St Teresa's Convent in Colombo, sent off the first aid package last week.
She and a group of friends have raised £350 and collected aid with the help of the Oddfellows Pub in Astwood Bank.
Her aunt, Sister Maude AC, has been travelling into the destroyed coastal areas of the island to offer orphans help.
Anybody who would like to donate or help can call Mrs Hopkins on 455952.
