I FOUND this photograph in some old correspondence. It was sent to me at Christmas in 1933 and I would like to know what happened to Arthur Rust, of Redditch.
We were great friends and when I joined the army, I lost touch with him.
I think he was the last telegraph boy.
Myself, Archer Willis, was born in Smallwood Hospital and passed my School Certificate at the High School.
I am now 91 or thereabouts but having spent 50 years in the army and Customs & Excise, never made it home.
I have three sons, Anthony, a retired Squadron Leader, and twins Christopher and Stephen, who both entered the oil and construction industry with respectable degrees - one is at present in Alaska.
I've been lucky.
