VOLUNTEERS in Redditch are needed to help support victims of crime.
The role involves visiting victims and contacting them by telephone for four hours a month and Victim Support Worcestershire is offering volunteers extensive training for the role.
The organisation also gives people the chance to specialise in support activities for victims of theft, assault, burglary, murder and others.
Training sessions follow an initial five-day recruitment course but a week-day training course is taking place in Worcester from March 14-18.
Expenses are paid for training and while visiting victims.
