TEAMS battled it out in the Bromsgrove and Redditch Table Tennis League's Handicap Cup.
Division One sides experienced few scares in the cup, despite the sides from below being awarded extra points.
Hillcrest had lost to Cofton Hackett B 378-204 and despite an ward of 150 points it was not enough to hand them victory.
Droitwich E were awarded to 250 points to progress past West Midlands Phones C. Droitwich had lost by 238 points, but their handicap handed them a 12 point advantage.
Lickey Rocs defeated Studley Road Terriers by 45 points despite their rivals being given 60 points.
Cofton Hackett A and Droitwich C had the closest match of the cup.
Hackett defeated Droitwich 381-198 and despite their opponents' being given 175 points it was not enough to stop Cofton progressing.
West Midlands Phones B were awarded 140 points as they beat Lickey Monarchs by 17 points.
Carter Retail edged past Studley Road Nomads by six points, while SPSP got the better of Barnt Green Hornets by 41 points.
