THE Community Arts Festival Event (CAFE) and Redditch Council are joining forces in a partnership which plans to take forward the excellent work of the voluntary sector in the town.

The partnership is looking to work together to create a festival of new opportunities so people can see what arts are on offer to them and to be given the chance to take part.

The festival will last for three weeks, beginning on May 28, and CAFE will form the finale.

CAFE events will include a ghost walk on Thursday, June 9, and a variety show at Kingsley College on the evening of Friday, June 10.

On Saturday, June 11, there will be events throughout the day in the Kingfisher Centre, at the library, in St Stephen's Church and outside Tony's Handyman.

In the evening there will be a concert featuring gifted musicians at Kingsley College.
