TALENTED table tennis players from a Kidderminster school have stormed through to the regional finals of National School Team Table Tennis Championship.
Representing Worcestershire, the Franche Middle School team eased past rivals from Gloucestershire and Northamptonshire in the previous round.
Having won that zone tournament at Cheltenham, the under-13s will return to the same venue for the next stage on February 6.
The successful team included Matthew Preece, Matthew Rayner, Lee Thomas and Adam Nutland.
Meanwhile, Franche pupils also tasted glory at the Worcestershire Schools' Individual Table Tennis Championships at Evesham.
Nutland became under-13s boys county champion and will go forward to represent Worcestershire at the National Finals at Stoke in April.
Preece reached the last four of that category while in both the u-11s and the u-13s girls sections, Jessica Rudd was runner up with Grace Rudd third.
