KIDDERMINSTER Cobras basketball club continue to blow hot and cold after suffering a 75-58 defeat at home to Redditch Regents in the West Midlands Premier League.
The scores after each quarter were 12-15, 26-31 (14-16), 42-56 (16-25), 58-75 (16-19).
The disappointing setback is in stark contrast to their previous performance, an impressive win over high-flying Wolverhampton.
Cobras were never really a cohesive unit and the game was lost in a two-minute spell in the third quarter when Redditch hit 11 points without reply.
Martin Usherwood was man of the match.
Points scorers: John Jackson 16, Mark Bonshor 8, Martin Usherwood 8, Roy Francis 6, Tom Holmes 6, Paul Phelps 3, Richard Miszkowski 3, Craig Fielder 2.
