RUGBY fans travelling to this weekend's sell-out Worcester Warriors clash at Gloucester are being offered double the usual space on Saturday rail services.
Wessex Trains has confirmed it will increase the number of carriages from two to four on both the 10.36am and 12.36pm trains from Shrub Hill station to Gloucester.
The return services at 6.35pm and 9.07pm will also be doubled.
The rail operator was responding to concerns from supporters, who feared the usual service would not cope with the 1,000 or so Worcester supporters travelling to Kingsholm for the clash.
"Even with this increase, space will still be limited and is available on a first-come first-served basis on these non-reservable services," said a spokesman for the train company.
Those travelling are advised to check with National Rail Enquiries, on 08457 484950, for further information.
