BURLISH Olympic got back to something approaching their best form with a 4-1 win at Evesham - but boss Dave Glass is still disappointed with their inconsistency.
Despite Sunday's comfortable victory, Olympic are 13 points adrift of leaders Malvern and stand little chance of catching them. Glass insists their tendency to blow hot and cold this season has cost them the title.
"We've slipped up too many times and I don't know why it is because last year we were turning up expecting to win games and were winning them."
Goals from Mary Calder and Carla Worrell put Burlish in control at Malvern before substitutes Naomi Datsun and Beth Ghalamkary came on the seal the win with Rachel McGGowan the player of the match.
They host Harriers reserves in the Women's League Cup at 2pm on Sunday.
