Stourport slumped deeper into the relegation mire with a 29-5 defeat at Dudley Kingswinford Wasps in North Mids South Two. DKs had opened up a 12-0 lead by the break with Stourport failing to keep the ball and losing possession from their own setpieces.
Stourport went into the second half full of fighting spirit but could not break down the solid defence of DKs who extended their lead shortly after the break.
They did manage a consolation try when back row Phil Randle crossed after a good setpiece. But DKs ran in two more tries and one conversion to seal the win. They will be hoping for a better outcome in Saturday's local derby against Chaddesley at Walshes Meadow, kick off 2.15pm.
The seconds managed to produce a 12-10 win over Dudley Kingswinford Wasps with tries from Kris Holy and John Connelly and a Stuart Wilson's conversion . They have a friendly away at Chaddesley Corbett on Saturday.
