RENALDO Edmondson has quit Wor-cester Wolves and dropped two leagues in search of first team basketball.
The point guard handed in a transfer request at the University College Wor-cester-based club, sixth in Engish League Division One, and has since signed for Division Three (West) leaders Aston Athletics.
Edmondson played 21 matches for the Wolves this season but director of basketball, Mick Donovan, said the move was not unexpected following the arrival of Matt Collins from Coventry.
Collins, also a point guard, featured in Wolves' excellent 83-72 home win against previously unbeaten London United on Saturday and Edmondson feels he needs to feature regularly in first team action.
