HAT-TRICKS for Barry Williams and Criag Hunt propelled leaders Droitwich Spa Men's Firsts to a 9-0 victory over basement side Kingswinford in West Midlands Hockey League Division One.
Ed Deacon also scored twice in the rout, while Jamie Broughton completed the scoring.
Captain Paul Atkinson said: "It has been a strong start to the second-half of the season but we have a tough game against Whitchurch on Saturday."
The Seconds lost 1-0 at Old Wulfrunians.
Spa, who dominated the second-half, started without leading scorer Craig Hunt and midfield dynamo Mike Eaglesfield, both called into the Firsts.
From the whistle, Droitwich were put under pressure, during which the hosts scored the only goal of the game.
The Thirds returned to winning ways with a 2-1 home win over Old Wulfrunians.
Droitwich put together some fluid passing moves and eventually took the lead through Wayne Brown.
The hosts stepped up a gear in the second-half and netted a second through Matt Darbyshire from a short corner.
Old Wulfs grabbed a consolation with the last strike of the game.
The Fourths lost 2-0 at Warwick.
Poor passing let Droitwich down as Warwick scored twice after the break.
