Anna, the original Irish choral group from Riverdance, have split from the hit dance show and are heading for the Malvern stage for the first time on Saturday, February 5.
The 14 members, led by identical twin composers Michael and John McGlynn, explore 2,000 years of Celtic music in their show and have been celebrated internationally. And local audience members will enjoy the fact that one of the singers, Lucy Champion, also the wife of Michael McGlynn, is heading back near her home town of Pershore for the one-night show.
Since splitting from Riverdance - The Show in 1996, Anna have released nine albums, been nominated for the Classical Brit Award and performed all over the world, and with top artists like Barry Manilow, Elvis Costello, Michael Crawford and Sinead O'Connor.
