A POLICE officer who rose through the ranks will carry out chief inspector duties at Kidderminster for two months before moving to a new role.
Inspector Charlie Hill progressed from constable to inspector in less than 10 years.
He will take up a new post with West Mercia Constabulary's North Worcestershire division from the start of February.
Following an initial two months as operations chief inspector at Kidderminster, he will become district commander at Bromsgrove.
